The Cable Club League Rules

Have you ever wondered which Retro Games are worth your time in modern day, by popular demand? Our patented Retro Game League is the nostalgic game show where guests pitch us their favorite games on our show and we see how they stack up against each other.

We play 25 games per league and sort them by quality into cups:

Apricorn: The space for lesser known or more niche games.

Poke Ball: Games you might know or should know about

Great Ball: Games you ought to play at least once.

Ultra Ball: Easily recommendable in modern day. Usually have some modern sensibilities that respect the gamers' time or tell a worthwhile story.

Master Ball: Legendary games that shaped the landscape of their genres or pioneered genres for years to come.

Games don't stay in their starting cups either. As more games join the fray some of them climb the ladder to higher echelons in the rating portion at the end of each league episode. In the final battle, our community will vote to elect a winner in each cup and the person who pitched the game will one of the sweet prizes below:
